Wycombe Wanderers and Thames Valley Police are working closely to identify and ensure appropriate action is taken against those supporters who participated in anti-social behaviour after Saturday’s fixture at Colchester United.
An investigation is underway after a pyrotechnic device was discharged in the away end after the final whistle, and a number of fans acted in an inappropriate manner in the vicinity of the stadium.
The club have been advised that this behaviour is likely to lead to a compulsory police presence when the two sides meet at Adams Park in January, coming at a cost of several thousand pounds to Wycombe Wanderers.
Any witnesses are encouraged to come forward with information by contacting stadium manager Gordon Reilly on 01494 455747 or email@example.com. Complete discretion and confidentiality will be ensured.
