Wanderers are getting plenty of practice finding the net, currently joint top of the EFL scoring charts, and owe a debt of gratitude to the Ex-Players Association for playing their part.
The Association raised funds at its last annual dinner to benefit the playing department at the club and the money was spent on three new sets of goals for the training ground, which were assembled by Gareth Ainsworth and his staff in the summer.
Representatives of the Association’s committee are familiar faces on matchdays at Adams Park, chaperoning players on visits to the executive boxes and hosting the Q&A sessions in the Vere Suite after each game.
Tickets cost £40 per person; contact Alan Hutchinson via alan-hutch@sky.com for details.
