His goals have been lighting up Adams Park – now Adebayo Akinfenwa is set to illuminate High Wycombe town centre by switching on the Christmas lights on Thursday 16th November.
The ‘Beast’ has been invited to push the button on stage in Frogmoor to kick off the festivities, shortly after taking part in a special book signing session in Waterstones in the Eden Centre from 5pm following the release of his autobiography.
Starting from 4pm, the Christmas Lights Switch-On includes a parade through the town centre at 6.15pm, culminating in the main event on stage in Frogmoor, where Akinfenwa will turn on the lights at 6.45pm and be on hand to sign autographs and pose for photos.
Information on stage times and line-up will be displayed on www.hwbidco.co.uk in the run up to the event or on social media @HWBIDCo.
Free parking in Wycombe District Council car parks is available for one day only; for more information please see the T&Cs on www.hwbidco.co.uk.
Adebayo’s book, ‘The Beast’, is now on sale – you can buy from the club shop or online.
