After 80 days away, the Chairboys are back at Adams Park!
Wycombe Wanderers vs AFC Wimbledon
Tuesday 25th July 2017, k.o. 7.45pm
Referee: Charles Breakspear
A feast of fan-owned football awaits supporters at Adams Park this evening as Wycombe Wanderers and AFC Wimbledon go head-to-head for the Cherry Red Records Cup, with both clubs sponsored by the independent music record label.
Managers Gareth Ainsworth and Neal Ardley are old friends from their days as team-mates at Wimbledon FC while of course Adebayo Akinfenwa meets the club that he departed moments after sealing their place in League 1 with a penalty in the play-off final at Wembley in May 2016.
Adam El-Abd will make his home debut after joining the Chairboys earlier this month, although Anthony Stewart and Scott Kashket are likely to miss out through injury.
AFC Wimbledon have added Liam Trotter to their squad as their seventh summer signing and he's in line for his Dons debut.
Fans of both clubs can pay on arrival - either cash on the turnstiles or by card at Ticket Office 1. Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for juniors (ages 18 and under). The terrace and Beechdean Stand will be open for this fixture.
Season ticket collection
Season ticket holders for the 2017/18 campaign can collect their cards from the blue pod before the game, or from Ticket Office 1 for 15 minutes after the game.
The Arriva bus service will not be in operation for tonight's fixture, but there's plenty of parking around the stadium for just £5 a car. Supporters who have booked a seasonal car park pass will have their names on a list at the gate.
The new away kit and goalkeeper kits are now on sale in the shop at Adams Park, along with a new range of trainingwear and leisurewear. The shop is open all the way through to kick-off, and for a short period after the final whistle.
Food and drink
The Caledonian Suite will be open for both home and away fans before the game, while both stands are serviced by kiosks in the corners.
Pick up a programme around the ground for just £1. Parklife contains the views of Gareth Ainsworth, a re-cap of the friendlies so far, a summary of all the news from over the summer, a welcome for AFC Wimbledon and an interview with Adebayo Akinfenwa, as well as doubling up as a fold-out poster of the kits for the new season.
50/50 matchday draws
The club operates two matchday draws, giving fans the chance to win a cash prize. Purchase your blue £1 or orange £ tickets from our vendors around the ground to be entered into the draw, where 50% of the takings go into the prize find and the other 50% goes to support club projects.
Follow it live
There'll be no live commentary from tonight's game, but look out for regular updates across the club's social media accounts, while there'll also be interviews available on iFollow after the game.
