All you need to know ahead of the Sky Bet League 2 meeting with Luton Town at Adams Park on Saturday (k.o. 3pm).
Wycombe Wanderers vs Luton Town
Saturday 21st January 2017, k.o. 3pm
Adams Park, HP12 4HJ
Referee: Mark Heywood
5th plays 6th at Adams Park on Saturday with Wanderers' 14-match unbeaten run coming against possibly its toughest challenge yet - a Luton Town side that has never lost at Adams Park, and produced arguably the best opposition performance of the season so far.
Wanderers were still finding their feet amidst an injury crisis when they succumbed to a 4-1 defeat at Kenilworth Road early in September, but their phenomenal form over the winter sees them narrowly ahead of Nathan Jones's side in the table.
Blues boss Gareth Ainsworth has had the relative luxury of a full week to prepare for the visit of the Hatters, but not until late February or beyond will he have the same kind of break with this weekend's game kicking off a run of at least five Saturday-Tuesday combinations.
Scott Kashket could be back in contention after he missed last week's draw against Yeovil through injury, while Michael Harriman, Matt Bloomfield and Dayle Southwell are also close to a return.
Luton are without left-back Alan Sheehan through suspension, so Jack Senior could take his place or Jones has hinted at switching to a three-man defence.
