Recommended area for car parking
Free parking for 500 cars is available to fans at Fairlands Valley car park to the north of the ground. Do not park in the adjacent Roaring Meg Retail Park or Wickes / The Range car park. New parking rules recently imposed by the Roaring Meg management restrict parking to 90 minutes on a match day, which come in to effect two hours before kick-off. Parking is available in nearby residential streets - fans are asked not to block driveways.

Using the train?
There is a very regular service to Stevenage from London Kings Cross. There are about four or five departures an hour and the fastest services take only 24 minutes. Fast return trains are at 17:36, 18:06, 18:36 etc.The Lamex Stadium is about a mile from the station. You can use the club’s shuttle bus service with Arriva that costs just £1 return and takes fans from the railway station and bus station directly to The Lamex Stadium. Services commence approx. two hours before kick-off on a Saturday and continue an hour after the final whistle. The shuttle departs from Stop N at the railway station and Stop K at the bus station.
Facilities for away fans
The capacity is 6,920 with seating for 3,412. Away fans are located at one end of the ground in the South Stand. This is a single tiered all seated covered stand that can accommodate 1,400 fans. There is usually a good selection of catering on offer. There is a large Club House bar at the ground, behind the South Stand, which is popular with both home and away fans alike.
Facilities around the ground
There are not many hostelries near to the ground. If you like real ale you may consider the 15 minute walk to the 'Our Mutual Friend' pub in Broadwater Crescent. Another option is “The Roebuck Inn” on London Road which is about a 10-minute walk away. The town centre is a 15-20 minute walk, where there are plenty of pubs to be found. The ‘Standard Bearer’ (a Wetherspoons’ outlet) located near the Bus Station has been popular with Chairboys fans in the past. Across the roundabout from the ground there is a Retail Park that has various eating outlets such as Pizza Hut, McDonalds & Burger King, plus a Harvester restaurant bar.
