Seventh plays sixth in Sky Bet League 2 as Wycombe and Portsmouth go head-to-head for the third time this season, having won one each in their league and cup duels so far.
Paul Cook's pre-season promotion favourites came out on top in the league in September, capitalising on defensive mistakes to record a 4-2 victory at Fratton Park, but the Chairboys earned their revenge two months later, securing their passage to the second round of the FA Cup with a marvellous 2-1 away win.
The two sides come into the game off the back of defeats to Exeter, who have now stormed past them both into fourth place, and both could field new arrivals with Alex Jakubiak in line for a home debut for the Blues while Eoin Doyle and Aaron Simpson could feature for Pompey after signing on Tuesday.
The south coast club have never lost at Adams Park, but Gareth Ainsworth's men are unbeaten in the league on home turf since mid-October and will hope to return to winning ways after their long unbeaten run was ended in Devon.
