It may be a KFC on the M6 services rather than a plush restaurant, and it might be League 2 entertainment rather than a blockbuster movie. It's Valentine's Night... but we wouldn't have it any other way.
The Chairboys are on the road once again in the fourth of six weeks of Saturday-Tuesday fixture combinations, and this time Gresty Road is the destination, with the two teams coming into the game with contrasting emotions from the weekend.
Crewe had endured a winter of discontent, leading to the departure of long-serving boss Steve Davis, but new manager David Artell recorded his first win in style, seeing off Grimsby with a thumping 5-0 victory.
Wanderers, however, found themselves on the wrong end of a 3-0 scoreline at Stevenage, struggling to recreate the sparkling form which had thrust them into the play-off picture over the past three months.
The opportunity to bounce back comes around quickly, and they head north today seeking a second 'double' of the season so far, having thrashed the Railwaymen 5-1 in the reverse fixture in September.
That night saw Scott Kashket score his first and second goals for the club at the start of a blistering spell of form, one which he'll hope continues at Gresty Road, although squad rotation is the name of the game for Gareth Ainsworth in the midst of this busy schedule and changes could be made tonight.
Myles Weston came off on Saturday, joining Paul Hayes, Matt Bloomfield and Paris Cowan-Hall on the injury list, while Alex Jakubiak could be in line for a first start after impressive cameos from the bench in his two appearances so far.
All tickets must be purchased on the night from the away ticket office to the right of the turnstiles (cash and card accepted).
Prices are as follows.
Seniors (60+): £17
12-16 Years: £10.50
Under 11: £6.50

Recommended road directions
Take the normal route to the northbound M6 (M40, M42). Exit the motorway at junction 16 and follow signs for Crewe on the A500 and then the A5020. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit and continue to the next roundabout, take the first exit continuing to follow signs for Crewe Town Centre and Crewe Railway Station. Pass Crewe Hall on your right and at the next roundabout continue forward down Weston Road. Away supporters parking can be found on the industrial estate on Weston Road - an approximate ten minute walk to the ground. If you continue down to the roundabout this will take you towards the ground, take the first left at the roundabout and continue past the train station. Take the second left down Gresty Road and continue down to the junction and the ground is on your left.
Mileage from High Wycombe = 150
Recommended area for car parking
Behind the Main Stand is a pay and display car park which holds 560 cars and costs £3.50 for the day. Another option is to use the industrial estate on Weston Road (see above).
Travelling by coach?
OWWSA will be running a coach that will leave Adams Park at 15:00. Travel prices are £21 for adults, £20 for seniors, and £19 for juniors. The price for non-members is £25 (no refund if game is cancelled). Using the train?
This fixture is just about possible by rail as the last London bound departure off Crewe is at 22:01 arriving back at Euston at 01:15 (there is a change at Wolverhampton). There is plenty of choice on the way up with Virgin trains offering a regular service, fastest journey time from Euston 1hr 30mins. Once you arrive at the train station, you can see the ground, turn left out of the main entrance and walk down to the second left, marked with the road sign Gresty Road. Then the ground is just a five minute walk down the road.
Facilities for away fans
The ground capacity is 10,066 (All seated). Away fans are housed in the Whitby Morrison Ice Cream Van Stand at one side of the ground. The whole of this stand is given to away supporters and houses 1,680 fans. Note there are a couple of supporting pillars in this stand that might affect your view of the playing action Entrance to the away stand is by ticket only so tickets need to be purchased from the ticket booth next to the supporters club at the entrance to this stand. Please also note that alcohol is not available in this stand.
Facilities around the ground
The supporters club at the ground does allow in small numbers of away fans. The pick of the local hostelries is probably the Corner Bar at the “The Royal Hotel” on Nantwich Road. There are usually separate bars for home and away supporters. There is also an excellent chip shop opposite. Also on Nantwich Road are “The Cheshire Inn” and “The Brunswick” both of which accommodate away fans. If you park on the industrial estate off Weston Road on your way to the ground you will pass the “Brocklebank” Pub which is very popular with away fans. For a modest charge you can park in the Pub car park.
