Wycombe Wanderers vs Leatherhead
Sunday 3rd December 2017, k.o. 2pm
Adams Park
Referee: Tim Robinson

It’s Emirates FA Cup weekend – what’s not to love?

Three successive home wins in league and cup have elevated the feelgood factor around Adams Park; a sentiment that will only be heightened if the name of Wycombe Wanderers is in the draw for the prestigious third round of the world’s most famous domestic club competition.

But standing in their way are the underdogs of Leatherhead, a Bostik League club with momentum behind them and a blend of raw non-league talent and Football League experience believing that their own cup adventure won’t end at Adams Park.

Their cup campaign began in early September and included a superb first round replay win at Billericay to secure their place in the second stage; now they’ll look to bridge the three-tier gap between the clubs to spring a cup shock.

Last year Wanderers found themselves on both sides of the ‘David vs Goliath’ story, being given an almighty fright by Stourbridge in round three before doing just the same to Tottenham in the fourth round.

Therefore Gareth Ainsworth knows what to expect from the Tanners, and will have a plan to combat the threat from Sammy Moore’s side. This one could be a cracker – you’d be a fool to miss it.

Team news
Gareth Ainsworth will name a full-strength side after shuffling the pack for the midweek Checkatrade Trophy win over West Ham U21s, with Adam El-Abd available again after being suspended for last week’s league victory against Yeovil. Ebere Eze is unavailable, however, under the terms of his loan spell.

Leatherhead too made changes in midweek for a county cup fixture but Jack Midson and Sammy Moore are available after sitting out a one-game suspension each.

Man in the middle
Tim Robinson has shown 67 yellow and eight red cards in his 22 games so far, mostly in the Championship, and showed 10 yellow cards in his last fixture involving the Chairboys at Portsmouth last season.

It’s his first return to Adams Park since GPS-gate against Plymouth in September 2015, while he also sent off Marcus Bean at Carlisle that season.

Prices are listed below; all areas of the stadium will be open for this fixture.

Adults: £15
Seniors (60+): £10
Young Adults (19-25): £10
Juniors (18 and under): £5

Call 01494 441118, visit the shop at Adams Park or go online to book.

Arriva The Shires have confirmed that their matchday bus service will be in operation for Sunday's Emirates FA Cup tie with Leatherhead (k.o. 2pm).

The timetable for this weekend's fixture is one hour earlier than normal due to the earlier kick-off:

Rail Station – 12.05 and 13.05
Frogmoor – 12.10 and 13.10
Bus Station – 12.15 and 13.15

Adult Single: £3

Child Single: £1.50

Children are classed as ages 11 and under.

There will be no parking for the general public in the lower tier - spaces in the upper tier are £5 per car.

Due to the presence of several BBC broadcast trucks, parking at the stadium will be limited for the general public and therefore fans are encouraged where possible to make use of the bus service.

There is an additional club-run car park behind Origin Global (on the left before the Adams Park gates), priced at £5 a car.

Spaces for pass holders in the club car park are guaranteed up until 2.30pm, after which time the lower tier becomes closed to vehicles due to high pedestrian traffic.

Blue badge holders are required to pre-book one of 15 complimentary parking spaces via the ticket office; otherwise the standard £5 charge applies.
