As we prepare to welcome Notts County to Adams Park this weekend, we take a look at our last win against the Magpies on home turf in October 2007.
The Chairboys came out 3-1 winners with goals from John Sutton, Man of the Match Scott McGleish and 'Mr Wycombe' Matt Bloomfield to put ten-man County to the sword.
Paul Lambert's side took the lead from the penalty spot as Paul Mayo brought down Martin Bullock in the box; an action which saw the defender shown a straight red card. Sutton stepped up and calmly slotted the ball home to give Wanderers the lead.
Notts County struck back on 68 minutes through Richard Butcher, but Wycombe soon regained the lead three minutes later as McGleish struck gold with an effort outside the box.
Subsititute Bloomfield ended the game as a contest on 82 minutes with a sweet strike which put the Chairboys within three points off the automatic promotion spots.
Wycombe would go on to finish the season in 7th position and into the play-offs, though it was to be heartache over two legs in the semi-final against eventual play-off winners Stockport County, losing 2-1 on aggregate.
