Paris Cowan-Hall is delighted to be back and keen to take some momentum into the trip to unbeaten Carlisle tomorrow. The forward made his return in the 1-0 victory over Stevenage last week, having picked up an injury during pre-season, and he is keen to get back into the swing of things for the match at Brunton Park.
He said: “It’s very nice to be back, to get a bit of fitness back into my legs and it is great to touch a ball again.
“It would have been nice to start the season but that is the way my luck has gone. But it was nice to come on and play a part in the game.
“There aren’t many easy games in this league, a lot of teams are like for like, so it is going to be a tough game against Carlisle but we are going to approach it in the same way we do most games. They are unbeaten but every team has a way of being beaten.
“We are going there to try and get something out of the game and we are going to be using the momentum from the Stevenage game to try and get something.”
Paris is in his third spell with the club, having rejoined on loan from Millwall in the summer, and he has a lot to thank Gareth Ainsworth for as the manager marks four years at the helm tomorrow.
Paris said: “He has been very important, him and Dobbo [Richard Dobson], in terms of my progression and self-belief.
“On and off the pitch the gaffer has been a big help to me, he has guided me and believed in me. Football is massively about confidence and that coupled with the fact that he works with players individually has helped me no end and I will forever be grateful.”
