The Big Match Preview: West Ham

4 October 2016

All you need to know ahead of tonight's Checkatrade Trophy tie with West Ham United at Adams Park (k.o. 7.45pm).

Wycombe Wanderers vs West Ham United (PL2 Side)
Tuesday 4th October 2016, k.o. 7.45pm
Checkatrade Trophy Group Stage
Adams Park, HP12 4HJ
Referee: Darren Deadman

Wanderers could progress to the knockout stages of the Checkatrade Trophy with a victory over a youthful West Ham United side at Adams Park this evening.

The Hammers were one of 16 first or second tier clubs invited into the competition following a revamp of the Trophy's format in the summer, aimed at enhancing the development of the top young players in the country.

Their PL2 side - consisting mostly of players under the age of 21 - suffered a 4-2 defeat to Coventry City on the first matchday, on the same night that the Blues swept aside Northampton with a 3-0 victory at Sixfields.

Gareth Ainsworth made five changes to his side that evening - and even brought himself off the bench for a late cameo - and there will be a few adjustments to his team tonight in the midst of a busy run of league fixtures.

If the scores are level after 90 minutes then a penalty shootout will determine which team is rewarded with a bonus point.

Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for under-18s.

Call 01494 441118 or go online to book, or buy on the night at no extra charge.

Wycombe fans will be accommodated in the Bucks New Uni Stand (terrace) and Beechdean Stand, while West Ham supporters will be in the Panache Stand behind one goal.

The Arriva bus service will not be in operation for this fixture.

The service timetables are as follows.

There will be limited parking for the general public in the lower tier - spaces in the upper tier are £5 per car. There is also a car park behind Origin Global (on the left before the Adams Park gates), priced at £5 a car, the proceeds of which are split between the club and the Rennie Grove charity.

Spaces for pass holders in the club car park are guaranteed up until 7.15pm.

Blue badge holders are required to pre-book one of 15 complimentary parking spaces via the ticket office; otherwise the standard £5 charge applies.
