Fans have had their say in the naming of a new beer from the Caledonian Brewery, themed specifically for the club.
Following the launch of the Wanderers' new partnership with HEINEKEN, supporters were asked to vote for the name of a new beer - previously known as Golden XPA - from HEINEKEN's Scottish brewery, Caledonian.A number of suggestions were put forward at a beer tasting event and whittled down to a shortlist of four, which then became two - Adams Ale and Sloping Loakes.
An online poll came to a tight conclusion but the winner - and therefore the name of the new beer - is SLOPING LOAKES, which is a tribute to the famous slope at the club's old Loakes Park ground.
Sloping Loakes is now on sale in the Vere Suite at Adams Park; be sure to try a pint on your next visit.
