Fans given chance to name new beer as club announces HEINEKEN partnership

Wycombe Wanderers are excited to launch a new partnership with HEINEKEN by offering fans the chance to vote for the name of a new Chairboys-themed beer.

The club have teamed up with the UK's leading cider and beer company in a new deal which will see the Vere Suite renamed after its Scottish brewery, Caledonian.

The Caledonian Suite will be officially unveiled in October, while a new Wanderers ale - yet to be named - is now on sale at the stadium.

The new three-year partnership with HEINEKEN will see their wide range of beers and ciders - including Heineken, Bulmers, Foster's and Amstel - stocked at Adams Park. The previously popular ale festivals on Wanderers' matchdays will continue with an enhanced selection of beers from HEINEKEN.

Damian Irvine, head of commercial activities, said: “We undertook a really thorough market test to find the right deal for the football club and HEINEKEN came out head and shoulders above the rest.

“The deal is perfectly suited to a club of our size, which is enjoying growth in terms of visitors to the stadium not just on Wycombe Wanderers match days but for other sporting events and private bookings in the Conference Centre as well.

“Supporters will begin to see some fresh changes around the ground and we’re confident that the new beer – named by the fans – will be extremely popular.”
