Wander through Wycombe to Adams Park with Simply Walks

3 November 2016

Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust have teamed up with the Bucks County Council Simply Walks team for a new initiative on home matchdays.

Fans will have the opportunity to enjoy a guided walk through High Wycombe from the rail station to Adams Park, meeting up with fellow supporters to enjoy a different and insightful journey to the stadium through the town centre.

Each walk is free to join and is led by a trained guide, while a 'back marker' will join each walk to ensure everyone can walk safely at their own pace.

All participants will receive a free refreshment once they reach Adams Park, and a bus ticket to return back to the town centre after the game. Each walker will need to purchase a ticket to enter the stadium to watch the game.

The first walk takes place on Saturday 12th November for the game against Morecambe, departing the rail station at 12.45pm. The route will pass the bus station at 12.55pm and the Hour Glass pub at 1.40pm, reaching the stadium at around 2pm.

Future walks are scheduled for Saturday 26th November, Saturday 17th December, Monday 2nd January, Saturday 14th January, Saturday 21st January, Saturday 4th February, Saturday 18th February, Saturday 25th February, Saturday 11th March and Saturday 25th March.
