RECRUITING: Stadium Doctor (matchday role)

A vacancy has arisen for the role of Stadium Medical Officer for Adams Park in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

The post involves attending Wycombe Wanderers football matches to provide medical cover for the crowd, working closely with the paramedics and St John's Ambulance crews.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those wishing who be involved within sports and pre-hospital care.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
The ideal applicant(s) will have experience as an event doctor and be fully conversant with the duties involved. The candidate(s) must currently be registered with the GMC in pre-hospital (immediate) care and major incident management. Completion of the Immediate Medical Care "Crowd Doctor" course by the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care (Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh), or an equivalent, would also be desirable.

HOURS OF WORK
The role will form part of a team of doctors and requires flexibility on Saturdays, Tuesday evenings and public holidays for coverage at all home fixtures, to include all league, cup and friendly matches. It will be offered on a part-time basis and the salary will be commensurate with skills and experience.
