Liz kicks off Lap of Honour tour at Adams Park

4 May 2016

Buckinghamshire resident Liz Stoddard walked a lap of the Adams Park pitch to begin a nationwide tour of football grounds, raising money for Alzheimer's Research UK.

Liz, whose father battled dementia, is paying tribute to each and every one of the 850,000 UK individuals diagnosed with dementia by taking 850,000 steps around the local area, raising awareness and money for the charity.

She passed the 500,000 mark en route to Adams Park from West Wycombe and then paced around the pitch, poignantly observing that each of the 2,000 seats in the Panache Stand represents somebody living with dementia in High Wycombe.

Liz now plans to embark on a lap of honour at every stadium in the country.
