The Sports & Education Trust are excited to deliver a new series of exercise classes based at the club's Adams Park home every Wednesday lunchtime. In partnership with Bucks County Council and Wycombe Wanderers FC, the 'Get Active @ Adams Park' programme is a personal trainer led, weekly group exercise session and part of the wider Active Bucks programme, which aims to help Bucks residents lead a more active life.
These exciting outdoor gym sessions will take place pitch side at Wycombe Wanderers' home stadium and will focus on increasing health levels in a supportive, inclusive and relaxed environment.
The programme will run every Wednesday lunchtime for 26 weeks from 12.15pm – 1.15pm and cost only £2 per session.
Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome and individuals will be challenged at a suitable level.
Paul Foley, Head of Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust, had this to say about the exciting new initiative:
“One of the Wycombe Wanderers Sports & Education Trust charity’s primary aims is to increase the health levels of people who live in and around Wycombe. The football club have kindly agreed to support this exciting new programme by allowing us to deliver sessions pitch side at the stadium. We hope this will prove to be an exciting and inspiring place to exercise and meet new people and therefore attract participants who may not be interested or comfortable in a traditional gym environment.
"Everybody’s welcome regardless of physical fitness levels and at only £2 per session it’s an affordable opportunity to get active whilst having fun!”
