Blues stars visit O'Neills factory to see new kit in production

19 May 2016

Paul Hayes, Luke O'Nien and Barry Richardson had a special sneak peek of the new Chairboys home kit at the O'Neills factory in Northern Ireland on Wednesday.

The trio jetted out along with the club's head of media Matt Cecil to witness the manufacture of the very first shirt to be produced by the club's new official kit supplier at their factory in Strabane.

A tour of the facilities took them first into the sock department, witnessing the seven-minute production of the new sock from the first thread to the finished product, before embarking on a walk-through of the manufacture of the new home shirt, from its design on a computer to the cutting of the fabric, the printing onto the material and the hand-sewing and stitching to completion.

O'Neills' media team were on hand to capture photos and videos of the tour which will soon be shared in the build-up to the big reveal of the new kits, which will take place at Adams Park on Sunday 10th July.
