Paris returns on loan from Millwall

29 June 2016

Paris Cowan-Hall is back at Adams Park for a third spell as Gareth Ainsworth makes an another exciting addition to his squad for the 2016/17 campaign.

The 25-year-old rejoins the Chairboys from League 1 side Millwall on a loan deal until January 31st, hoping to recapture the form which made him a hit with the Wanderers fans during his previous time at the club.

Ainsworth said: “Paris was one of my main targets for the summer and I’m delighted that we’ve been able to bring him back.

“This is where Paris has played the best football of his career and he’s had two very happy spells here. I’m sure he’ll benefit from having a full pre-season with us and we look forward to seeing him back on the pitch where he’s capable of getting the fans on their feet and being a match-winner.”

Capable of playing up front or on the wing, Paris first arrived at Wycombe from Plymouth in 2013, scoring on his debut and ending the season with five goals from 30 appearances.

He eclipsed that total by the end of December in the following campaign, including a blistering spell which earned him the Sky Bet League 2 Player of the Month award and a move to the Championship with the Lions.

However, injuries disrupted his start to life at the Den and he spent a short time on loan with Bristol Rovers last season before returning to Adams Park in January, scoring the winning goal in a 2-1 victory at Dagenham & Redbridge to cap an impressive run of form.

An ankle injury sustained in training ruled him out for the rest of the season but the attacker is fully recovered and ready to join his team-mates for the first day of pre-season training on Thursday.
