The Big Match Preview - Aldershot

26 July 2016

All you need to know ahead of tonight's pre-season friendly at Aldershot Town (k.o. 7.30pm).

Aldershot Town vs Wycombe Wanderers
Tuesday 26th July 2016, k.o. 7.30pm
EBB Stadium, GU11 1TW

Played three, drawn three - Wanderers' pre-season has shown plenty of signs of encouragement against higher-ranked opposition, and now Gareth Ainsworth's men will look to build up momentum ahead of the new Sky Bet League Two campaign with two visits to non-league sides.

First up is Aldershot Town tonight, managed by former Blues boss Gary Waddock, in a repeat of a meeting prior to the start of the 2015/16 season. The 1-1 draw that day was a fair reflection of both sides' performances and the Shots will once again provide tough resistance, with ex-Chairboys Nick Arnold, Matt McClure and Scott Rendell in their ranks.

Wycombe hope to overcome a couple of minor knocks which kept Paul Hayes and Sido Jombati sidelined in Friday's draw with QPR, in which Aaron Pierre and Paris Cowan-Hall came off as a precaution.
