The club’s Twitter feed will be taken over by German comedian and celebrity Wanderers fan Henning Wehn for one night only......when Queens Park Rangers come to town on Friday night (k.o. 7.45pm).
Henning worked in a sales and marketing role for the Chairboys in the late 90s, shortly after arriving in the country, and has gone on to reach stardom as the self-styled “German Comedy Ambassador to the United Kingdom”, featuring regularly on television and comedy festivals across the land.
His affiliation with the club has continued throughout the years and he returned to Adams Park for a charity event in July 2011, performing on-stage in the Wycombe shirt given to him by the club when he left his role more than a decade ago.
Now he’s back, to offer his unique and inimitable insights from the Blues’ third pre-season friendly, with a blend of wit, unashamed Chairboys bias and hopefully some tactical analysis… although nobody is quite sure what to expect once he gains control of the keyboard!
Be sure to follow the club’s Twitter account – which is on the verge of reaching 40,000 followers – at @wwfcofficial and keep an eye on the hashtags #WYCvQPR and #HenningTakeover for updates before, during and after the game.
