A guide for supporters ahead of Saturday's Emirates FA Cup third round tie at Adams Park (k.o. 12.45pm). Regularly updated with new details.Wycombe Wanderers vs Aston Villa
Saturday 9th January 2016, k.o. 12.45pm
Adams Park, HP12 4HJ
Referee: Mr M Oliver
Gareth Ainsworth has said everyone has a chance of being part of the squad for the big Emirates FA Cup third round clash with Aston Villa.
Skipper Paul Hayes and midfielder Marcus Bean could return from injury but goalkeeper Matt Ingram will definitely miss out having had his red card appeal against his sending off versus Morecambe turned down. Alex Lynch will deputise in the Blues goal.
Boss Ainsworth is keen for his side to show what they are made of against Premier League opposition and showcase their desire and commitment against international players.
“The culture is right here and it feeds itself now,” he said. “The effort, enthusiasm and togetherness of the players has never been in question.
“We’re hoping it will be a great occasion on Saturday, win, lose or draw but that we can retain some of those fans who come down because to have a full house is absolutely brilliant.”
The match will be shown live on BT Sport 2 from 12pm, with Martin O'Neill, Lawrie Sanchez, David James and Steve McManaman amongst the guests.
The build-up begins from 10am with the 'Fletch & Sav' show on the same channel, with Glenn Hoddle joining Darren Fletcher and Robbie Savage in the studio. The programme will include a special feature in the Life Academy - the house which accommodates four young Wanderers players - and an interview with Gareth Ainsworth.
There has also been plenty of coverage in the national press, with Blues' stars featuring in interviews with the BBC and leading national newspapers. Read Garry Thompson's interview with the Mail Online here.
The game is sold out in all areas; approximately 200 tickets were held back due to replacement seats being installed, but these have been allocated to supporters on a waiting list.
