Blues prepare for cup clash at new Wycombe Leisure Centre

5 January 2016

Wanderers were amongst the first guests to make use of the state-of-the-art facilities at the brand new Wycombe Leisure Centre.

The centre opened its doors for the first time on Tuesday and welcomed Gareth Ainsworth and his squad for a session in the gym and swimming pool as they gear up for their Emirates FA Cup third round meeting with Aston Villa at Adams Park on Saturday.

Goalkeeper Matt Ingram, who was educated at the John Hampden Grammar School over the road from the former leisure centre on the site at the top of Marlow Hill, commented on the "unbelievable" facilities, which will be used regularly by the squad following the launch of a new partnership between the centre and club.

Marcus Bean joined the rest of the squad for the session as he edges closer to full fitness after two months on the sidelines with an ankle injury.
