500 Club races past £50,000 mark

20 December 2016

The initiative designed to raise £75,000 for the playing budget has hit a big milestone with under two weeks to go until the transfer window opens.

A flurry of new sign-ups took the fund past the £50,000 mark, with close to 300 supporters having now pledged their £150 to the fund either in full or in monthly instalments.

The 500 Club was launched in September to help keep Gareth Ainsworth's squad as strong as possible, and has already played its part in keeping hotshot striker Scott Kashket at the club on a long-term deal.

As the January transfer window draws closer, fans are asked to dig deep to make their contribution where they can, and they could be rewarded in a series of prize draws which have so far seen supporters win VIP meet-and-greets, Wembley tickets, signed merchandise and a matchball sponsorship package.

All 500 Club contributors will also soon receive a signed squad photo in a presentation wallet.
