Wanderers would like to apologise to fans who were inconvenienced by queues at the entrance to the terrace at Tuesday’s fixture with Accrington Stanley.
The ticket office were left short-staffed at late notice due to illness and were therefore unable to open Ticket Office 2 as normal, instead opting for a cash turnstile with only one operator.Approximately 20 minutes before kick-off, the turnstile ran out of tickets and a printer error at Ticket Office 1 delayed the delivery of a new batch of tickets to the turnstile.
All supporters are required to obtain a printed ticket upon entry to the ground, in the event of an abandonment or evacuation of the stadium.
The club will be putting new provisions in place to ensure a more effective process in similar circumstances in future.
