The Big Match Preview - Yeovil

19 April 2016

All you need to know ahead of tonight's Sky Bet League 2 clash with Yeovil at Adams Park (k.o. 7.45pm).

Wycombe Wanderers vs Yeovil Town
Tuesday 19th April 2016, k.o. 7.45pm
Adams Park, HP12 4HJ
Referee: Mr Lee Collins

Wins are needed to propel Wanderers into the play-off picture with just four games remaining in the Sky Bet League 2 season - and the Chairboys are hungry to collect all three points against Yeovil Town tonight.

A draw against Barnet on Saturday was viewed as two points dropped after Paul Hayes opened the scoring at Adams Park but Gareth Ainsworth's men remain in the hunt for seventh place, needing a slip-up from AFC Wimbledon along the way.

The reverse fixture against Yeovil in November was possibly the Glovers' lowest ebb in recent times as Luke O'Nien's stunning winner sent them to the bottom of the Football League, but new boss Darren Way has done an outstanding job to steer them away from relegation danger and their safety was assured at the weekend.

Goals have been in short supply for both teams; Wycombe haven't scored twice in a game since early February and Yeovil's run stretches even further back, but the combination of Wanderers' need for three points and the Glovers' no-pressure mentality could make for an open, exciting game under the lights.
