Martin O'Neill and Gareth Ainsworth will be amongst the guests at the Ex-Players Association's annual dinner at Adams Park on Friday night.O'Neill returns to the club where he enjoyed unprecedented success from 1990-95, guiding the club to Wembley glory on three occasions and winning successive promotions from the Conference to the former Division Two (now League 1).
The 63-year-old has just led the Republic of Ireland to the European Championships in France next summer after progressing through the qualifying rounds via a two-legged play-off victory over Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Ainsworth has been a regular attendee at the annual dinners since becoming manager in 2012 and will be joined by assistant Richard Dobson, first-team coach Barry Richardson and chairman Andrew Howard.
O'Neill and Ainsworth last met at the League Managers Association awards in May where Gareth collected the League 2 Manager of the Year award from Martin after taking the Chairboys to Wembley in the play-offs after earning their best ever points total in a Football League season.
Former bosses Brian Lee, Peter Suddaby and Alan Gane plus local hero Mark West are other confirmed attendees for the dinner, from which the proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimers Society.
