Leeds to bring "strongest available squad"

11 November 2015

Leeds United manager Steve Evans has confirmed his side will be approaching Friday's match at Adams Park in the same manner as any competitive fixture.

The Championship giants head to Adams Park for a special fixture (k.o. 7.30pm), organised after both clubs were left without a league game due to the international weekend.

Both clubs come into the clash off the back of two successive victories and will therefore look to keep up momentum, with Evans and Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth vowing to field their first-team regulars.

United have confirmed they will be without Lewis Cook, Stuart Dallas, Jordan Botaka and Chris Wood after they were selected to represent their countries.

Evans told "Our strongest available squad will be travelling to Wycombe on Friday. We’re treating this as a normal, competitive game.

“We’ll be backed in great numbers once again by the travelling Leeds United supporters, and I’m sure this fixture will attract a healthy home crowd from Wycombe.

“That requires the players to demonstrate a certain level of effort and commitment that they may have gotten away with had this game been played at a training ground. The hard work has continued at Thorp Arch since Saturday’s win at Huddersfield, and we have no intention of letting that slip at Adams Park on Friday night.

“The supporters can expect to see the usual faces – aside from those away on international duty – but there is also the opportunity for certain players to force their way into our plans between now and then."

Close to 2,000 tickets had been sold by Wednesday lunchtime with many more fans expected to secure their seat ahead of kick-off.

Wanderers fans will be accommodated in the Beechdean Stand (seated), Origin Family Stand (seated) and Bucks New Uni Stand (standing). The Frank Adams Stand will be closed for this fixture.

Leeds have been given an allocation of 1,850 seats in the Panache Stand.

The following prices apply in all areas of the stadium; however there is a £2 discount for season ticket holders who book before 5pm on Thursday 12th November.
