Gareth Ainsworth has made a double signing with the captures of midfielders James Ferry and Jermaine Udumaga on loan from Brentford. The pair have impressed for the Bees’ development team and have made the move to Adams Park to add depth to the squad during a busy winter period.
Ainsworth said: “We’ve got an excellent relationship with Brentford which enables us to benefit from taking their youngsters on loan and contributing to their development on and off the pitch.
“James and Jermaine have played a lot of matches at youth level and we look forward to giving them the opportunity to experience a first-team environment in training and on matchdays.
“I’d like to thank Brentford for once again working with us and entrusting us with two of their young stars. We’ve got a lot of games coming up and having them in the squad will give us extra options when we need them.”
18-year-old Ferry signed a new professional contract until 2017 earlier this week and captains the Bees’ development squad, lifting the Milk Cup in 2012 and making 13 appearances in league and cup this season.
Udumaga, 20, is a more attacking midfielder and has made four first-team appearances this season, having previously developed his career at youth levels at Oxford, Charlton and Crystal Palace.
James and Jermaine have been given squad numbers 24 and 25 respectively, and will remain at Adams Park until 23rd December.
