Provide another level of support to your club!
Wycombe Wanderers PALS is the volunteer work force which assists the club in a number of areas, helping the Chairboys to achieve survival, stability and success as a true supporter-owned club.PALS was founded in the spring of 2015, inspired by the teamwork and camaraderie that the Wanderers' playing squad experienced for themselves on a trip to the World War I battlefields earlier that season, where groups of friends formed 'Pals Battalions' to enrol in the war effort as a united front.
How does it work?
- The club will advertise volunteer opportunities on the website (see below), social media channels and matchday programme
- PALS will be asked to send their name, contact details, a CV (or suitable list of skills and areas of expertise), and an approximate guide to their availability to help out (e.g. evenings, weekends, two days a week)
- Details will be passed to the relevant head of department at the club, who will contact applicants to discuss the role in further detail
Already volunteering with the club? Then you're already a PAL! Please continue your excellent work as normal unless informed otherwise.
