Show your true colours on holiday

11 June 2015

Follow in the steps of Alan Parry by representing the club on your summer break.

The famous blue quarters will doubtless be seen all over the world this summer and Sky Sports commentator and former Wanderers director Alan Parry set the ball rolling on a recent trip to Spain.

Alan and a bunch of friends donned the Wanderers colours to take on a local team in Nerja on the Costa del Sol. He explained: 'I play five-a-side football with some pals in Maidenhead every Friday night. We call ourselves Cookham Wanderers and when we play the occasional 11-a-side match, we always wear a replica Wycombe kit.

'Some of the guys followed the Chairboys to Wembley last season and they've now adopted us as their second team.

'Despite playing very well against a much younger Nerja team, Cookham Wanderers lost 4-3 but it didn't hamper the after match party one bit!'

Take your Wanderers shirt with you on holiday this summer and tweet your photos to @wwfcofficial using the hashtag #ChairboysAbroad.
