Gareth Ainsworth has made his first move into the loan market by bringing Michael Harriman back to the club from Queens Park Rangers until the end of January.
The 22-year-old excelled at right-back in his first spell with the Chairboys in the 2012/13 campaign, making his first Football League start under Ainsworth and playing 20 times in total.
He continued his development with a year-long loan at Gillingham and spent last season with Luton Town, where he was deployed mostly as an attacking wing-back.
Ainsworth said: "I've kept a close eye on Michael ever since his first spell with us and always been impressed with the way he goes about his game.
"He can play in a number of positions, he's got great talent on and off the ball and you always know you'll get 100% effort and commitment from him. I'm really pleased to have him back.
"The loan market was crucial for us last year and it will be again, due to the small size of our squad. If we can bring in a few more players of Michael's calibre then I'm confident we can have another good season."
Michael joins the squad on the trip to France for the first friendly of the pre-season schedule against US Avranches on Thursday evening.
