Follow the Chairboys into Europe

1 July 2015

Wycombe Wanderers fans have the exciting opportunity to join the team on a pre-season trip to Northern France, taking place from Wednesday 15th to Saturday 18th July.

In association with Motts Travel, the excursion includes a friendly match against a local side in Avranches, as well as a ‘meet and greet’ session with the players.

There will also be day trips for supporters to Mont St Michel and a scenic drive along the coastline, as well as a stop at the Pegasus Bridge Museum which houses the famous Pegasus Bridge, captured by British forces on the night of 5-6 June 1944 during World War II.

As an extra reason to join the trip, all fans who take up the opportunity will be invited to enjoy pre-match hospitality at a reunion meeting ahead of a Sky Bet League 2 fixture in the 2015/16 season.

Chairman Andrew Howard said: “The trip presents an ideal opportunity for the players to regroup after the summer and prepare for the season ahead in a new environment away from the training ground.

“We’d be delighted for fans to come out to France to watch the team in action and spend time with them on the Friday morning as well as taking in some superb tourist attractions in the area. We’re extremely grateful to Motts Travel for helping to make the trip possible and we hope as many fans as possible will be able to join us.”
