Aaron Holloway extends contract to stay at the club

7 January 2015

Aaron Holloway has signed an extension to his contract, keeping him at Adams Park until the end of the current season.

The striker penned a short-term deal in the summer after impressing manager Gareth Ainsworth on trial, and has shown plenty of signs of promise during his 15 appearances so far, including a memorable last-gasp equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Northampton Town in October.

Manager Gareth Ainsworth said: “We’ve always said that Aaron is a work in progress because he needed to be given the opportunity to build up his fitness and prove his potential.

“I’m really pleased with how far he’s developed so far and I’m excited to keep him here so we can continue to bring the best out of him over the coming months.”

Holloway arrived at the club having left Newport County in the summer, and had previously spent time with Cardiff City, Bristol City and Bath City as well as winning 11 caps at youth level for Wales.
