Luton clash moved for Sky coverage

3 February 2015

Wanderers are set for their second date with Sky Sports this season with the news that the Sky Bet League 2 fixture against Luton Town will be broadcast live on TV.

The game at Kenilworth Road has been moved to Tuesday 24th March (k.o. 7.45pm) to be shown across the globe, as two of Sky Bet League 2’s leading clubs go head to head in what is sure to be an electric atmosphere under the lights.

The reverse fixture in December resulted in a 1-1 draw at Adams Park, in the first meeting between the sides following the Hatters’ return to the Football League after winning promotion from the Conference in the summer.

They have previously faced each other live on Sky Sports back in 2001, where a triple substitution from manager Lawrie Sanchez inspired the Chairboys to recover from a first-half deficit to win 2-1 thanks to a brace from Andy Rammell.

Ticket details for the match on 24th March will be announced in due course, while the club can confirm that the game will be screened live at Adams Park for those fans who can’t make it to Kenilworth Road, with more information to be revealed nearer the time.
