Club reports break-in at training ground

13 February 2015

Wycombe Wanderers are disappointed to report a break-in at the club’s training ground in the early hours of Friday morning.

Expensive maintenance equipment was stolen from a container next to the main building after trespassers broke the padlocks on the main entrance gate and the door to the container.

The police have been informed and any witnesses are urged to call Thames Valley Police via 101.

Chairman Andrew Howard said: “The club takes any breach of security extremely seriously and we will be fully cooperating with the police in the hope of finding those responsible.

“It has been well documented that we have significant financial restraints and operate within extremely limited resources, so this kind of damage causes a severe hindrance to the efforts everyone is making to make this club a success.”
