Share Scheme Marketing
Share Scheme: Firstly a huge thank you - nearly £600,000 has already been committed over the next five years by around 250 supporters.
Some of the money raised so far has gone towards smartening Adams Park, fixing the big screen and improving the club’s commerciality, highlighted by the recent appointment of new Commercial Manager Damian Irvine.
More examples on what we will spend your generous investment on will be announced in due course.
There is however still a long way to go to reach our overall £2million target and we need your continued backing and support to succeed in safeguarding Wycombe Wanderers’ heritage and promoting a successful and sustainable future.
To begin, there are currently 51 initial pledges yet to be followed through that could raise our current total to roughly £750,000. If you are one of those people it would be greatly appreciated if your pledge could be converted to an investment. If anyone has any concerns or questions then Trust directors are contactable via email or on matchdays (there is a designated Trust table in the Vere Suite which Directors will run on a rota system throughout the 2015/16 season).
The minimum investment is £100 over 5 years and the maximum is £100,000 to allow all supporters the chance to invest, providing you are a Wycombe Wanderers Trust member (£10 per annum for adults and £5 for concessions).
Certificates are sent to every investor to recognise their generosity and shareholding stake. There is also the chance to claim Enterprise Investment Scheme tax relief and the potential for earning a small scrip dividend if the club continues to be successful.
More details can be found on www.wycombewandererstrust.com for anyone interested in finding out more about the scheme or showing their support.
Wycombe Wanderers has the potential to be the model for Trust ownership and relies on you, our owners, to help deliver this.
Communication: As well as a regular column found in these here pages, the club and Trust will be running regular forums throughout the season. This will provide supporters with the chance to ask any question to any Trust board director.
Sponsorship: Wycombe Wanderers Trust Board directors will be sponsoring the home shirt of new signing Luke O’Nien for the forthcoming season.
Volunteering: Lastly, a huge thank you to the numerous volunteers who have clocked up 720 hours of voluntary time tidying and smartening our home. We are indebted to your support and your kindness and willingness to help has saved the club thousands of pounds.
