The Big Match Preview - York

7 August 2015

All you need to know ahead of the first game of the season on Saturday (k.o. 3pm).

Wycombe Wanderers vs York City
Saturday 8th August 2015, k.o. 3pm
Adams Park
Referee: Oliver Langford

Eighty-six long days since that memorable night against Plymouth Argyle in the play-off semi-finals... the Blues are back in town.

It's their first return to Adams Park after playing five friendlies away from home, and a newly-laid pitch awaits them for the beginning of the Sky Bet League 2 campaign against a York City side who have enjoyed an impressive pre-season campaign after a difficult time in the league last year.

Gareth Ainsworth has a fully-fit squad to choose from which means all eight summer captures are in contention for a starting role, and each will be keen to continue the tradition of a debutant scoring on the opening day of the season, which has been the case in each of the last five years.

Tickets
Book before 5pm on Friday for a £2 discount in all areas of the stadium. Tickets start at £15 for adults and £5 for juniors, while under 7s go free in the family stand.

Food and drink
The bars in the stadium open at 12pm with an ale festival in the Vere Suite serving 15 different beers for fans to enjoy. Click here for full details. The Coffee House next to the shop will be open before the game but not after.

The Vere Suite will be open at half-time for fans in the Beechdean Stand, who can access the lounge from the far-right of their stand.

There'll also be the first Q&A of the new season in the Vere Suite with a member of the squad after the game.

York City fans are invited to make use of the Scores bar, next to main reception.

Programme
Quarters has a new design with some great new features for the 2015/16 campaign, including a series on the club's 25 years at Adams Park, a fun insight into members of the squad and stories told by our supporters of their history following the club.

It's also your first chance to get a glimpse of the squad photo featuring all 19 players and staff, displayed in the centre pages to make for a perfect pull-out poster.
