Gareth Ainsworth has been named the Sky Bet League 2 Manager of the Month for March.Ainsworth made light of a difficult looking fixture list in March, which included games against promotion rivals Southend United, Shrewsbury Town and Luton Town, to inspire his team to 14 points from six unbeaten games in the race the for League 2 title.
He said: “To be recognised as the Sky Bet League 2 Manager of the Month is a fantastic achievement not just for myself but for the staff, players and everyone who’s played their part throughout the season.
“We had an excellent run of form during the month of March and hopefully we can keep the same level of performances and results for the rest of the season to help us achieve our aim of winning promotion.”
