Danny Rowe has been recalled from his loan spell at Adams Park by his parent club Rotherham United. The 19-year-old first signed for the Blues at the end of last season and returned for a second time in the summer, before being called back to cover for injuries to a number of Millers defenders.
Rowe returned to Wycombe in October and his deal was extended until the end of the current campaign, but United boss Steve Evans has now activated a recall clause to take him back to the New York Stadium.
Gareth Ainsworth said: “Danny’s been a fantastic character to have around the squad and he’s someone you know you can rely on every time he steps onto the pitch. I’d like to thank him for all his efforts and also thanks to Steve Evans for allowing him to continue his development with us.
“It’s a blow to lose Danny when we have a small but tight-knit squad, but we respect Rotherham’s decision and we wish him well.”
