Wanderers striker Steven Craig was able to go home without hospital treatment after suffering a nasty head injury against Bury.
The Scotsman landed awkwardly after an aerial duel around the hour-mark and needed lengthy treatment before being carried off on a stretcher, after which point he was assessed by medical staff.Stevie was allowed to go home but will be closely monitored to make sure there are no after-effects of the injury.
Manager Gareth Ainsworth said: "If it is concussion then there's a protocol in place where he'll have some time off - I can't risk anyone's livelihood.
"He's typical of the performance - he gave everything and will put his head in where it hurts."
After the game, Stevie tweeted: "Thanks for all the messages folks. Really is appreciated. Bit of a sore neck but I'm good. Great support."
