The Big Match Preview - Oxford

31 October 2014

All you need to know ahead of Saturday's local derby at the Kassam Stadium (k.o. 3pm).

It's one of the first matches both sets of fans look out for when the fixtures are released in the summer, and it's now here - Oxford United versus Wycombe Wanderers.

The U's are bidding to overturn a poor start to the season and despite a recent improvement in results, last week's defeat at Carlisle United may have just taken the spring out of their step.

As for Wycombe, confidence remains high having lost just twice all season in Sky Bet League 2, and they've been galvanised by the midweek signing of forward Hogan Ephraim, who goes straight into the squad.

A bumper crowd is expected for Oxford's 'Yellow Army Day' at the Kassam Stadium, while the Blues sold their entire advance allocation of 1,250 to ensure a superb atmosphere in the away end.

Our advance allocation of 1,250 tickets for Saturday's game at Oxford United is now sold out.
Tickets can be bought on arrival at the Kassam Stadium, or ordered through the Oxford United ticket office on 01865 337533 and made available for collection on the day from the North Stand ticket office from 1.30pm.

Fancy a flutter?
Sky Bet's top tip is for Peter Murphy to score at anytime at 3/1, having netted in his previous two outings.

A Wanderers win is priced at 7/4, a draw is 23/10 and a home win is 6/4, making them favourites for the game. Click here for the full list of odds.

Placing bets through Sky Bet could help win £250,000 for the club's transfer budget and £5,000 for yourself - click here to find out how. You could also win an exclusive '12th man' experience for our match against Burton in November.
