Blues seeking new club physio

Wycombe Wanderers are actively recruiting for a new First Team Physiotherapist to take the place of Theo Farley, who leaves the club at the end of June.

This position is responsible for the management and coordination of the sports medicine provision of first team players and for providing a first class physiotherapy and injury prevention service to the squad.

The main remit of this post will involve the provision of appropriate injury management, rehabilitation and injury prevention as well as pitch side/advanced trauma care.

The successful candidate will report directly to the First Team Manager and work with our established team of club doctors to develop a medical department that is viewed as a centre of excellence in injury prevention and management as well as overseeing the club’s sports science department.

We are looking for an experienced, hardworking, highly motivated individual able to deal with the demands of working within full-time football. This post will involve unsocial hours, including weekend work and will involve travelling with the squad.

Candidates must have the following qualifications and experience:
• a sound musculoskeletal and orthopaedic background
• membership of the CSP and be HPC registered
• at least five years’ post graduate experience in a professional sports role
• BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy

A post- graduate qualification would be advantageous.
