Gareth Ainsworth says his side must start taking their chances if they are to pull away from danger in League 2.
Wanderers more than matched league leaders Rochdale in the first half on Saturday, and were a coat of paint away from taking the lead when Reece Styche saw his strike rebound back off the post.
However, the visitors struck soon after the restart, before adding a killer second 15 minutes from time.
Ainsworth said: “Rochdale probably had less chances than us and less corners, but they stuck their chances in the net and that wins games. That's why they’re top of the league, you‘ve got to take those chances.
“We’ll be working on that and we’ll go again Tuesday, but if we keep performing like that, I've said all along we'll be fine.
“That performance was good enough it’s just that final thing of sticking the ball in the back of the net - it’s so precious at this stage of the season.
“We know we can do it we just need someone to take the mantle and start scoring goals to keep the club in the Football League.”
