Wanderers have completed the signing of Rotherham United defender Danny Rowe on loan until the end of the season, subject to Football League clearance.
The 18-year-old made his Millers debut earlier this season in Rotherham’s 3-0 victory at York City in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
Gareth Ainsworth swooped for Rowe with a couple of defenders struggling with injury ahead of Saturday's clash with Scunthorpe United, while concerted efforts to sign a striker proved fruitless.
Rowe said: “I’m very excited about the move and getting some quality league experience under my belt.
“I’m looking forward to it and I just can’t wait to get going now.
“Scunthorpe is near where I’m from and my family will come to watch, so it’s a great game to start with.”
Rowe is available for Saturday’s clash at Scunthorpe United and goes straight into the Chairboys’ squad.
