Travelling by rail?
Cheltenham is served from London Paddington. On most services you need to change, usually either at Swindon or Bristol Parkway. Cheltenham Station is over two miles from the ground. You can catch bus service D from the station car park to the town centre (Clarence Street). From the town centre it is a 15-minute walk to Whaddon Road down Prestbury Road. Service D runs every 10 minutes and you can buy a ‘day-rider’ ticket for unlimited travel in Cheltenham for £3.40. Another option is to stay on the bus to the Racecourse from where you can get the free Park & Ride shuttle bus to the ground.
Facilities for away fans
Away supporters are housed in the Hazlewoods Stand at one end of the ground, where just over 1,100 fans can be accommodated. The view of the playing area from the Hazlewoods Stand and the facilities inside are good, plus it has good leg room. You can pre book a car park space at the stadium by phoning CTFC on 01242 588101. This costs £5 a vehicle. Street parking in the immediate vicinity is restricted. The club however does operate a free matchday Park & Ride shuttle service from the nearby Cheltenham racecourse.
Around the stadium
The stadium is a 15-minute walk away from the town centre, where there are numerous pubs, restaurants and cafes. The closest public houses to the ground are The Sudley Arms (Prestbury Road), The Conservatory (Winchcombe Street) and The Kemble Brewery Inn (CAMRA) (Fairview St). There is a fish and chip shop in Whaddon Road, just 150 yards from the stadium, and another located close to the Sudley Arms. In Wymans Road (behind the Stadium's In2Print Stand) is the Parklands Social Club, where there is also very limited car parking (£4). The social club make a minimal charge for temporary membership, inside are two bars where snacks are available. There is also the sports bar at the ground which is open to everyone.
