Wycombe Wanderers are now looking for a new local charity to support for the 2014/15 season.
The application process is now open and entries must be submitted by Friday 4th July 2014 in order to be considered. The application must be from a charity registered with the charity commission and operate solely in or around the High Wycombe area. Please note national charities with local branches will not be considered.
All applications must include the following information:
• Brief history of how and why the charity was formed
• Outline of the work the charity does including aims, objectives and activities
• How becoming the club’s official charity would be beneficial
• Any fundraising ideas that will include the club
• How you currently raise funds
• Contact information
For the the 2013/14 season Wycombe Wanderers proudly showed their support to their nominated charity of the year, Thames Valley Adventure Playground.
Donations Manager Nicky Hutchinson said "Wycombe Wanderers' support for the Thames Valley Adventure Playground during the past season has been absolutely tremendous and has helped make this a really special year for all those children with special needs, and their families, for whom the Playground is such a lifeline.
"The Club's generous contributions to our fundraising activities have been marvellous, and the chance for our users to experience the thrill of live football just fantastic: the magical opportunity for the children to be mascots for the home match against Chesterfield has been one of the highlights of the Playground's year.
"The children are still talking about it, as are their parents: chances for their special children to enjoy such 5-star experiences are almost unheard of, and it means so much to them to know that there are people out there who do value their children, who understand that, whilst they may approach life in a different way, they deserve, and appreciate, the same opportunities as those who have no special need. We are so grateful to the Club for making all this possible."

Permission to use the title 'Official Charity Partner of Wycombe Wanderers 2014/15'
Matchday programme space
Agreed number of complimentary tickets for promotional use
Big screen advertising
Signed shirt for promotional use
Player appearance at agreed event(s)
Matchday bucket collection
Opportunity to put an event together in conjunction with Wycombe Wanderers
All applications will be considered by the board with fans being asked to vote for the Charity of the Year from a final list of three contenders.
