“Our next home game is against our neighbours Oxford United and we’re very much looking forward to that one, but we’ve got a job to do at Morecambe first.”
Ainsworth added: “We’re halfway through the season and I’d like us to be higher in the table, but we’re not too far away. A couple of wins and we'll soon start moving up that table.
“The lads listened and were honest with each other which started the really positive response they’ve shown over the past couple of days.”
“We were all in on Sunday to discuss the AFC Wimbledon game and what was missing from the performance.
“Saturday was the only time we’ve got beaten up and it won’t happen again,” Ainsworth told wwfc.com.
The 40-year-old cancelled the squad’s day off on Sunday to work on what went wrong against the Dons, before they were back in again on Monday ahead of the mammoth trip to Morecambe at the weekend.
