Skipper Stuart Lewis and striker Matt McClure remain doubts for Saturday’s trip to Southend United (k.o 3pm).
The duo both missed Tuesday’s 1-0 victory at Exeter City, with Lewis ruled out with a hamstring and McClure through illness.
“Matty will be looked at today and the main thing with him will be his strength levels, whether he’s eaten and been drinking enough,” boss Gareth Ainsworth told Chairboys Player.
“To be able to play professional football you need to be spot on, so we’ll have a look at Matty and he’ll be a big loss if he can’t.
“Reece Styche has gone away with Gibraltar so he’s not available this weekend and the other one is Stuart Lewis, and we’ll see how he is with his hamstring.
“He’s played through the injury and I did it a couple of years ago when we got promoted. I was having jabs in it towards the end of the season and it’s not something I want Stu to do.
“He’s being looked after, but he has plied a bit of his trade over that side of the country and I’m sure he will want to be involved.
“There will be no risking him though. We’ll see where he is and whether we can get him right. The odds are probably just stacked against him.”
